  Co Hair Studio, Inc dba CP Beauty and Barber Salon’s 

is a Black Women-Owned Family Business Beauty Salon Corporation. 

The CEO/ Founder/ Owner is Sha’Va Porter . She shares ownership with her amazing daughters Marie Kenoly and Shebria Thomas . 

Sha’Va Porter was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. In 2001, she and her daughter moved to San Jose, CA. She started her career with  Braid It Up Salon in San Jose, CA in 2001. She worked there as a Braider for 16 years. She now resides in Stockton, CA. She has been a Braid Stylist  in the Beauty Industry for 20 years. She attended Cosmetology School at City of San Jose Community College in 2007. She was a hair model in 2002-2014 for various hair shows and magazines.  She went to Heald College, graduate with her AA degree in Business Administration with Emphasis on Accounting in 2010. Then attended DeVry University for her BA during 2012.

 For 16 years, She worked multiple jobs  and attended multiple Schools to provide for her family as a Single Mom. However, through it all  her biggest dream was to  become a Beauty Salon Owner.

ShaVa is a woman of integrity who has the drive and ambition to become a successful Entrepreneur of multiple businesses. She is a leader by nature. She is determined to correct the mistakes she can fix . Her faith  is strong in the Lord. She is very passionate about her career choice. She believes in the beauty industry of what it offers. and thru it all she wants to share her success with her staff  and clients she service everyday. 

With all the struggles she encountered during her 16 years of being a Booth Renter (Independent Contractor) Hair/Braid Stylist, she realized there were more people like her that struggled in the beauty industry. 

This is how Co Hair Studio, Inc dba CP Beauty & Barber Salon was created. It was created with the idea of becoming the #1 Steppingstone Beauty Salon and Barbershop Platform for Cosmetology and Barbering Student Graduates for the local Private and State Cosmetology and Barbering Schools in San Joaquin County area. 

CP Beauty & Barber Salon is designed to help any graduates of Cosmetology and Barbering students to become a part of the national beauty industry as a Remarkable Hair, Nail, Braider and/ or Barber Stylist in this country.  

We understand that when you graduate, you may not have clientele or the income to pay off your student loan debt or you are working two jobs, that is not your passion, just to survive day to day life. It’s not always easy to jump right in and market for clients, you might even have a small clientele, but you want to grow but don’t know how to. Don’t worry, we got you!!!

 We truly believe in the future of our stylist !! We  provide products and tools, marketing for your brand for new clients. We offer benefits, products, insurance, and business and financial literacy, building wealth, advance techniques classes,  and many more  essentials to help you stay focus on your creative skills in the beauty industry !!!

We currently service and supply various Hair  and Braid Styles, products, and Barber cuts for all ethnic hair textures. We appreciate each and every one of our clients we service daily!!!
